The Rotary Club of Carlingford was delighted to host the annual "My Mother, My Hero" poetry competition for school students in the North Rocks area. This competition was initiated by the Rotary Club of North Rocks in past years.
Held at the Vikings Sports Club at Dundas, the Rotary club members and guests - including the winners and their families - were delighted listening to the children read their poems aloud to them.
The club received glowing feedback from the families, especially the mothers who loved their gifts of flowers & chocolates and chocolates. They were all overwhelmed watching their children speak so lovingly publically.
