Dundas Area Neighbourhood Centre

Kathryn Hammond is the manager of Dundas Area Neighbourhood Centre (DANC). Kathryn has been in this role since March 2021, bringing with her a background of over 30 years working with community, including roles in Neighbourhood and Community Centres in Western and Southwest Sydney, a long-term role in Local Government as well as peak body and disability specific roles,

Kathryn is passionate about Community Development and making a difference for the community she works with. Since working at DANC, Kathryn has revamped the centre and office (with help from Rotary friends), provided food hampers for the community during lockdown and set up regular Oz Harvest and Second Bite donations to support the community. And, with her team, run programs and activities to meet community needs. 

in her personal life, Kathryn enjoys scrapbooking, travel and art. She is an Australian Champion Line dancer and instructor.
