Mortimer’s two spinster aunts, Abby and Martha, love to ply lonely, elderly gentlemen with their very special elderberry wine. One brother, Teddy, thinks he’s Theodore Roosevelt. His other brother, Jonathan, is a murderous Boris Karloff look-alike thanks to his sidekick Dr Einstein – an alcoholic plastic surgeon.
What exactly is in that elderberry wine? Why is Teddy doing all that digging down in the cellar? Whose body is that in the window seat? And will Mortimer and Elaine survive another night in the Brewster household?

This play is on Wednesday 28th January 2026. The Rotary Club of Carlingford looks forward to seeing you for a night of excellent theatre at the cost of $30 per person. Cash payments will be collected on the night.We will be serving cheese and wine in the foyer before the play, as approved by the Board of the Pavilion Theatre.
The doors will be open from 7:30pm, with the play starting at 8:00pm. As those who have attended previously will know, parking is extremely easy.
