To coincide with the UN 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-based Violence, the Rotary Club of Carlingford invites members, family, friends and members of the community to join us on the Rally Against Domestic Violence in Parramatta on Wednesday 4th December.  The event is being organised by the Rotary Club of Environment and Habitat in conjunction with the City of Parramatta.  All Rotary Clubs operating in the Parramatta area are encouraged to join the event.

The event starts with a march.  The Assembly point is at Mays Hill Oval (on Pitt St Parramatta) at 11.00am.  The march departs Mays Hill Oval at 11.30am and will proceed along Hunter Street to Parramatta Square where the rally will commence at midday.

Speakers include the Cameron MacLean City of Parramatta Deputy Mayor; Corinne Lindsell, Deputy Chair of the Homicide Victim Support Group; Donna Davis MP and others.

Rotary members are encouraged to be very visible and to wear their Rotary Purple Say No to Domestic Violence Shirts.  This is a free event, however numbers of attendees are capped, so please register your attendance here.
