On World Mental Health Day, Friday 10th October, the Rotary Club of Carlingford, in conjunction with the Rotary Club of Environment and Habitat, announced a donation of $2200 to Australian Rotary Health for their Lift the Lid for Mental Health campaign. This donation represents the proceeds from our recent Life & Rhymes of Banjo Paterson show performed by the extremely talented Gregory North at the Parramatta Town Hall. Thankyou for Greg North for inviting us to facilitate the event, our volunteer team, valued sponsors - Harcourts Exclusive and Parramatta Leagues Club, special guest, Parramatta Town Hall staff and to everyone who attended on the day. We had a lot of fun, were excited to celebrate the anniversary of the original Banjo Paterson speaking at Parramatta Town Hall 125 years prior, and are pleased to be able to provide financial support to this important cause - funding mental health research.
