Rotary Youth Exchange Student Cooper H was sponsored by the Rotary Club of Carlingford and lived in Germany for 12 months.
Cooper made a terrific presentation about his year in Germany to the club and proud family members who were in attendance. Quite apart from being taller, more confident and now speaking fluent German - it was quite evident that he had a fantastic time !
Carlingford High School Principal David Krust was in attendence to hear Cooper's report on school life in Germany, as was Rotary District 9685 Youth Exchange organiser Janelle Craig. Rotary Youth Exchange is a long-standing Rotary program which offers young people aged 15-16 the opportunity to:

- Develop lifelong leadership skills
- Learn a new language and culture
- Build lasting friendships with young people from around the world
- Become a global citizen
