Azita Abdollaian
Woman Life Freedom Movement in Iran and Afghanistan

In 1999 when Azita Abdollahian was a young mum, she fled the dangers of post-Islamic revolution Iran with her husband and two daughters. They escaped to Turkey and spent the next 18 months living as refugees, in poverty, fear and danger. Eventually, they secured migration to Australia and it was with optimism and relief that the family set off to start a new life in a country that promised safety, freedom and opportunity.

Azita has written a book Breaking Free - she writes - we are reminded that even in our most painful moments of our story, we can still find freedom, love, and the bright stars that shine in our future. Azita now lives the life she deserves, doing what she loves and helping others to find their path to contentment and happiness. She is the owner of a successful business, a life coach and a regular speaker at events. Azita’s journey provides hope, guidance and motivation to us all to dig deep and find the inner strength within to create the life we want on our terms.

Azita is a Rotarian and a member of Norwest Sunrise at Bella Vista.
