Lead - Professional Development Training -

Sharmily Nagarsekar is the Chief Executive Officer of LEAD Professional Development Association Inc. and LEAD Connect. Sharmily has been leading the Linker Network, a collaborative practice model for coordinated, client-centred, best practice, early intervention service delivery and sector change across Department of Communities and Justice (DCJ) Western Sydney Nepean Blue Mountains District (WSNBM), in collaboration with NGO partners to improve experience and outcomes for vulnerable children, young people families and communities accessing the service system. Built a membership of 85 organisations for the Linker Network across WSNBM District.

She has over 20 years of demonstrated experience in workforce development, training, professional development, and organisational development in the Not-for-profit sector and has held various leadership roles in the education sector. Prior to joining LEAD, she was the Executive Officer, Academic Planning and Courses Approval Committee at Western Sydney University and Executive Officer, Forestworks NSW ITAB (Industry Training Advisory Body).
